In order to produce a certain type of writing, you must have tools that consistently work with you to achieve this. In this blog, I will be discussing some writing tools that not only have helped the past and present but will also guide the future of writing.
The first tool that is commonly used is Microsoft Word. Microsoft Word is a computer program in which you type words onto a document and you have the choice to save that piece of writing or not with other useful tools such as cut and paste and text alignment. I personally was taught how to use this tool in my elementary years.
The next tool that I personally do not use, however, from many sources I have heard it saved their lives is Grammarly. This tool is an app as well as a google extension that offers grammar corrections without the use of plagiarism. Many school teachers and even some professors recommended this to students who struggle with grammar or punctuation.
Lastly, a tool that I use constantly and honestly live by is Google Docs. This tool, to me, is comforting when writing because they offer corrections in the kindest way. Also, it is easy to share documents with someone such as an editor and they can leave comments which you can also view and apply said corrections to your writing. It is also like a built-in grammar checker.
